The main power circuit consists of resistance welding transformer, thyristor unit, main power switch, welding circuit, etc. At present, the welding equipment we use is a single-phase AC resistance welding machine with a power of 200kVA and a secondary output voltage of 20V-40V. Due to the co production of multiple vehicle models, welding tongs need to weld high-strength steel plates and low-carbon steel sheets, and the welding gun arm of the welding tongs needs to transmit large mechanical forces and welding currents. Therefore, the strength, stiffness, and heat generation of the welding tongs must meet certain requirements, and they must have good conductivity and thermal conductivity. At the same time, it is required that the welding tongs be cooled by water. Therefore, a new type of welding tongs with the electrode arm of the welding tongs capable of withstanding a pressure of 400kg is selected.
