In order to achieve this control, various fully automatic seam welding machines for steel drums are equipped with specialized controllers. The DW250/6 welding machine of the Commonwealth Company in the UK is controlled using its dedicated UZDVR (uphill, impedance, downhill, voltage adjustment) components. Figure 8-11 shows the heat control curve of the machine.
